I'm a little unhappy so many people are bashing former USC and now Dallas Cowboy quarterback Robert "Willie Stargell" Johnson. Johnson assumes the Cowboys quarterbacking duties because Tony Romar, the Cowboys regular quarterback, broke a finger on his tossing hand trying to pickpocket a referee's penalty flag in a game against the Jets last weekend.
Many people seem to be bashing Johnson on the internet blogs. What misguided fools! If you'll only review the record books, you'll see Johnson owns EVERY Pac 10 passing record including touchdown passes , yards passing, yards scrambling, yards rushing, bobbled interceptions, long bombs and pastry bombs. He even threw a winning touchdown to Kevin Williams (yes, that Kevin williams, the one who sadly got hit by a train several years ago).
Robert "Willie Stargell" Johnson even came in second place in the Joe Theisman Trophy voting, second only to Jamelle Holiday of Oklahoma.
So before you spout off showing your distaste for Robert Johnson, please review the facts. Johnson is as good as Joe Montoya, Albert Poolholse or any other quarterback ever to play the game.

Mort as you may recall .Rob and myself were childhood freinds who played youth sports together and high school ball. He truley was one of the greats! I havent spoken with Rob since 1990 or so , but perhaps our paths will cross again!
Our last conversation included great memories of our past teams..the upcoming Senior year of BALLIN(football B-ball and Girls)and him telling me that he was going to accept a football scholarship to USC and he would have to stop talking to me as he would be busy at the Playboy mansion learning the Run and Shout offense /and south coast offense learning the words to Twist and Shout by the Isley Brothers swilling brews with USC SONG GIRLS and just becoming an upstanding citizen in every aspect . He wished me success in my future Junior College football Career knowing I'd never make it BIG TIME as I was a white guy OLB who was 5'11 185 lbs 4 cubits 2 oz that ran the 40 in 4.7...not exactly USC fast ..but not bad for HS . He walked off into the Sunset like Clint Eastwald with a swagger I'll never forget . Was I upset ,was I hurt was I jealous ...FUCK NO ! I went home smoked some weed with my hot ass redhead girlfriend and knew
I would be ROBS greatest fan....FIGHT ON ROB !!!!
